Privacy
Updated 9 September 2026. This policy describes the free Android app without ads. The publisher name and contact appear on this page once configured.
On-device data
Folga stores names, teams, professions, planning limits, shifts, notes and preferences to organise and compare schedules. Android stores the schedule state in a private app file and migrates data from the older WebView storage. The browser edition uses that browser’s local storage. There are no accounts, backend, remote sync, analytics or automatic crash reports.
Advertising and payments
The ad-free Android candidate contains no AdMob/UMP SDK or purchases. It does not send schedules to advertising services. Any future advertising edition must update this policy, store declarations and consent choices before distribution.
Exports, calendar and support
You initiate exports. A backup includes every profile, schedule and note. CSV/ICS and individual schedule files may include notes. Monthly images omit personal notes. Android prepares files in private cache and shares them with the destination you choose. Cancelling the chooser does not confirm that a file was saved.
Opening an Android calendar event transfers its title and dates; a note is included only if selected. Your calendar app may sync through its own account. Folga does not read your calendar or automatically update exported events.
Support diagnostics are prepared locally and are not sent automatically. If you email the publisher, they receive your chosen message contents and contact details to respond. Do not send other people’s schedules or sensitive information.
Retention and deletion
Schedules remain on your device until changed or deleted. Use Preferences → Delete all data to reset the local calendar. To remove cache and all internal files too, clear Folga’s app data in Android settings or uninstall. Exported copies, emails and events in other apps must be deleted separately. Back up before uninstalling or replacing your device. The publisher has no remote schedule copy to restore.
Protection
Files use Android private app storage; Folga does not add its own encryption to schedules or exports. Device security and screen locking also matter. Do not put patient data, identity documents or other sensitive information in notes.
Support website
Visiting the support or privacy website is separate from using the app offline. The chosen hosting provider may process IP addresses and access logs. Before publishing the site, the publisher must identify the provider and its actual log retention. These website logs are not schedules sent by the app.
Sharing by code
The share code is generated on the device and contains the filled days of the chosen month and the shift types used. It does not include other people or your settings. It travels in whatever message you choose: Folga does not send it, does not store it and uses no server. When the code is carried inside a link it sits in the fragment (#), which browsers never send to the server hosting the page. Anyone holding the code can read those days: send it only to the person you mean to.
